Castrol Edge Black Bottle

What do you guys think of Castrol Edge in the Black Bottle? I know it's not "American made" oil, which for some is an issue, but what are your real world experiences with it?

I know there was a period of time when SLP installed this in cars that they modified for GM

I like it. I've used the 0W40 flavor in the cars in my signature. I think titanium is a great anti-wear additive when the oil is cold and not fully warmed up yet. Ideal for my climate.

Only a few select grades are not American made.

I've used it a couple of times and have no complaints about how it treated my engine.

I pushed it to 8,400 miles in my old 2011 Ford Focus with a Tough Guard without issue

It's fine in my Mercedes. It's MB approved and that's what it calls for, MB 229.5. I've used Mobil 1 0w40 too. Got some Pennzoil Pure Platinum 5w40 too, I'll use that once the 0w30 and 0w40 runs out.

Edge 0W-40 is what I use in everything.

I like the 0w30 Belgian Edge.

Most Edge is American made. The only ones that aren;t are the Euro grades 0w30 and 0w40.

I can actually find it in stores and for a decent price, so yes.
