2012 Toyota corolla, 10,000 OCI with the $5 coupon I can get Castrol edge for $16 and change, do you thing this oil is up to it?

Does the factory call for 10k intervals using Synthetic oil? Then yes, Edge will handle it just fine.

+1

Who has Edge for $21 before coupon? Last time I was in Walmart they wanted $25.17. It should handle the Toyota 10k OCI w/o drama - keep it topped off.

I just got GC @ WM yesterday for $18 out the door in State College,PA.

Walmart has it for $21.66, and the 10w30, at least, says it now comes w/Titanium.

Yep, they have a Rollback promotion running through 9/27.
PP & M1 for $22.66 as well as other deals.

Just bought two jugs for $18.18 each with coupons from Walmart. My wife and I printed several more coupons off from different computers(seems once you print them off of one computer the coupon program won't let you print additional ones from the same computer), and plan to take advantage of this price for a good full synthetic. It is Dexos1 approved and I'll need that for the Sierra. Will probably get another four/five jugs for future use. Not a bad deal at all.

Also, that price is amazing. Is this black edge or gold edge?

Black in the ad I saw in the local paper.
$16.66 after coupon is an amazing price.....

I printed the coupon a few days ago and asked my wife to pick up a jug of 0w20 Edge yesterday only if the price was $21.66.

Our local W-M did.

The coupons I used showed both as an option. The gold bottle was about $5 more.

The only thing that gives me pause, and I use Castrol synthetic more than any other oil, is the photos of varnished engines on here and the lack of any claim of cleaning or cleanliness on their website. I like the performance of Castrol Edge and EP, but I'm going to try M1 EP next time and see how I like that.

They can't market to everything I'd guess especially with the moronic advertising style they favor. I have not seen anything in VOA/UOA's that suggests Castrol's detergent/dispersant additive levels are anything other than typical.
