Castrol - AutoZone

I've been to several Autozones in the last few days and all of them had GC. In fact, I havn't seen the US stuff in quite some time.

I've also noticed that AZ now carries Castrol 5w-40. (Never saw it before at AZ) On the front of the bottle it said specially formulated for VW engines. I should have looked at the specs. It was $4.99 qt.

I think it's only a matter of time before we start to see these higher end oils become mainstream here in the U.S. Good news is I think GC is here for good and Castrol is ONLY selling the German oil now.

Most AZ's in my area are carrying BC & GC. This makes me & my VW happy.

This is good news, although I am not a current user it is nice to have more High quality choices.

I think so too. I havn't seen Castrol 5w-40 at AZ before.

No GC here yet, but I did see the 5w40.
