Castrol 5W-40 Marketing change only?

Hey guys, anyone here looked into the differences between these two, if any differences exist? Previous OCI in the Canyon was regular 5W-40. Changed the oil yesterday and the "Euro" was the only 5W-40 Castrol on the shelf. Both being SN, is this just marketing, or is there an actual difference between the two?

Those two oils are very similar in properties but have a slight difference in approvals.
