Cartridge filter ?

TIA- Can a Dual Remote Filter, or a Bi-Pass filter be plumbed into an engine like the 3.6L Pentastar that uses a cartridge type filter? If so what would be need? Thanks!

In general I would think no, at least not easily. Not an easy way to get the oil flow out and back into the engine which can be accomplished easily with a spin on set up. One exception I know of is the Ecotec. I have seen an adapter that threads into the filter housing and is tapped for two lines on top. This particular one was pricey compared to a spin on adapter, machined aluminum and about $150 IIRC. When I get to a computer I will look it up and post the link.

This is it here .I think you would need something along these lines to do it. Unless of course there is an external oil cooler....
