Here is a list of cars I have admired and would consider buying in the future as either an everyday car or, if the financial situation permits, as a summer car. These are reasonably within my means for a couple years down the road.

These are supposed to be "Fun" cars as opposed to my everyday commuters.

1997-up Buick Regal GS
Too me it looks nice and is quick. Minor mods has it running 0-60 near 6 seconds. If I could pick one up low mileage for a good price id consider one in the future as an everyday driver. Has to be GS.

1983-1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS
My father owned a 84 LS and my neighbor had an SS. I grew up with these cars and will own one hopefully one day. People nowadays think it looks dumb, but to me this is pure 80s sexiness. Has to be an SS

07-09 Saturn Sky
Has to be the Sky. Has to be manual transmission. Turbo or NA doesnt matter. Not the Solstice. First car in a long time I really liked from GM.

03-06 Infiniti G35
Has to be a coupe. Must be 6 speed.

94-96 Impala SS
Will it be possible to find a nice example after all these years?

C5 Corvette
Pewter is my preference. 6 speed a must.

04-06 Pontiac GTO
Not available in Canada. Have seen 1 on the road. Will have to import it. LOVE this car.

All nice cars, my favorite on your list is the Monte, I had an 85 SS which was my first new car. I wish you the best in your acquiring one or more!
Joe

I would like to have a C6 Corvette, I will still keep the Trans Am.

I want a Sierra/Silverado Duramax to replace my 89 GMC 1 ton for pulling my 5th wheel.
Extra Cab or 4 door with a long bed.

Side note. I love my Regal GS.

An older couple traded in a 94 Impala SS yesterday on a new Corvette at the dealership I work at. They bought it new and it only has 40,000 miles on it, so there are still a few out there.

I want the ultimate Man Rig:

F450 SuperDuty King Ranch crew cab doooly diesel.

ARGHHHHHH ARGHHHHHH ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That Regal is the ultimate sleeper. I still remember an ad on TV for it, "the car for the supercharged family" with a couple kids running around on fast forward. What good is a fast car if you get lots of tickets?

It's good believe me. I have a 400 RWHP Trans Am WS6 and My Regal has a 3.4 supercharger pulley (stock is 3.8), exhaust, CAI, Tune, Shift Kit and U-bend delete. It moves out pretty good, suprises a lot of floks. You don't have to go crazy to enjoy either car.

1997 Lincoln Towncar with a 2011 Coyote 5.0 V8 (when available). Jest shoehornitin. Sleeper of sleepers.

M-B AMG E63 Wagon. With a trailer hitch. Ha ha haww.

1988 Cougar XR-7 retrofitted with EcoBoost V6 (ah, dreams).

Older Porsche 959. Retro-euro-racing-sweetness.

I would like to take an old miata and do something like this to it.
Strip it down to 1800-1900lbs.
Get a supercharger and run E85 for ~200whp.

Then get some skinny high profile tires and then pretend I'm Fangio on the Nurburgring...

1966 GTO to bookend my 2006 Holden GTO
1963 Corvette split window coupe
1993 Porsche 959 "Komfort"...my dream car, will never happen.
2011 Ford GT500....will happen
2011 Ford Fiesta
2010 Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe...possible collectable???

OP has some nice choices as well. Always liked the look of the Monte's and the GTO I obviously love as well. When you are ready, I have a Cyclone Grey T56 GTO garage queen waiting for you, give me a call....lol.

Yeah, I like the new ones, but I would also like:
R34 GTR with Calsonic paint scheme
NISMO 400R

And some non-Nissans:
Toyota Supra Turbo
Corvette Z06 (C5 and C6) and ZR1 (C4 and C6)
Lamborghini Countach

But the most realistic goal I have is a 2005 Subaru WRX STi in blue.

I'll list the Bimmers first...

E39- I may actually nab one of these before the end of the year. I'm hoping it will make a great daily driver as well as an entertaining track rat.

M5.JPG

E65 Alpina B7- I had one as a press loaner for a couple of weeks. A 5000 lb. luxury sedan that runs the quarter in the high 12s on its way to a top speed of over 186 mph.

B7front.jpg

E30 M3- the definitive M car. I'll never forget a day spent lapping Sears Point(Infineon) in a Dinan-modded 1989 model.

History_M3_E30_1.jpg

As for non BMWs...

Land Rover Defender 90- What can I say? I just like 'em.

d901.jpg

Porsche Cayman S- A true sports car with tremendous capability.

Porsche-Cayman-S-Sport-2.jpg

Jensen Interceptor- A British GT powered by a 440 Chrysler engine bolted to a Torqueflite 727. Woo-Hoo!

v-eight-jensen-interceptor-s-hl.jpg

1970 Torino GT- My dad had one, and I'd like to have one Detroit Musclecar in the garage.

I really regret selling my old Cutlass Supreme. I just loved that body style (along with the Monte Carlo). One day, I will buy one and restore it up.

As for future cars, I really like the Challenger/Charger. Some day.

And for even further into the future, I can't wait for hybrids to make it to the muscle-type car arena. Electric motors are torque monsters, imagine a car with 4wd electric motors. Hit the pedal and it just GOES. With some intelligent software and traction control-type of sensors, it could put exactly as much power to the road as the rubber can take. The future will be good.

- Boss powered Raptor (in orange w/o graphics)

- '10+ Mustang GT with lots of bolt-ons (no spoiler, stripes, etc.)

- SRT8 GC

- Lincoln MKT Ecoboost

2008-2009 Lexus LS600hL
A W126 or W140 chassis Mercedes S-Class, either the 560SEL, S420/S500, or a S350
an older Toyota Cressida with a 2JZ-GTE Supra Turbo or the 1UZ-FE Lexus V8 swapped in
2000s Porsche 911 Carrera - the only "supercar" I would own
late 60s-early 70s Cadillac Fleetwood or Chevy Impala
1998-2007 Toyota Land Cruiser/Lexus LX470
1998-2003 Ford F250SD, with the 7.3L PSD of course

That vehciles I want in my garage:

2011 Ford Shelby GT500 w/ stripe delete (horsepower fix)- it's getting an aluminum block for '11. I'd throw a set in a set of 1-7/8" LTs, FGT cams and a big Whipple 4.0L or Kenne Bell 3.6 Mammoth on it for some real fun.

2010shelbygt500fdp1_07_opta.jpg

2010 Ford SVT Raptor with 6.2L (hunting vehicle)

2010_Ford_F-150_Raptor_SVT_30_%28768x576%29.jpg

2010 Ford Taurus SHO (daily driver)

officially-official-2010-ford-taurus-sho.jpg

1997 Porsche 911 Turbo (autocross) - always loved their look in person

1997Porsche911TurboS.jpg

And if I win the lottery, my first purchase will be a black Ford GT. My favorite production car period.
