out/off 1.5 quarts HPL EC30 and 6.5 quarts Valvoline EP HM 5w-30 with Carquest Premium 84502

techs driving this truck to utah said they checked the dipstick and noticed it looked low so they added some cheap gas station oil. these trucks take 10-15 minutes after shut off to get a true reading on the stick. they said it never said anything about low oil on the dash. i dumped whatever was in it and refilled to be safe.

I like to support American manufacturing but geez… these higher end Asian made filters just seem to be better quality than almost all domestic filters. Don’t shoot the messenger.
