Who makes the CarQuest Premium (GOLD?) brake pads?

CarQuest Gold Premium Brake Pads

The last time I used CarQuest pads, they were made by Raybestos. They seem to be good quality.
FWIW I've never had any problems with Carquest brakes. I always get the cheaper ones, even though they dust more and wear faster, cheaper pads are generally more rotor-friendly.
Raybestos makes all of CarQuest's pads. every set from carquest that ive installed (a few hundred) of all varying quality levels have all been made my Raybestos.
The premium Gold line is ceramic based and dead quiet. The only problem is that on import applications factory dealer pads are cheaper. The last set I used on a customer's Civic was $60. I could have had factory Akebono pads if the dealer wasn't out for $43. The quality of the Gold line is great but you would be wise to check dealer prices on fast moving parts such as pads before you go elsewhere.
As a side note,the Civic has about 35K on the Gold pads so far and the customer said they have never made any noise and don't dust too badly.
