have a friends car that was spray with bad words on it looks like can of spray paint was used.
what can he use to take off easily without hurting the cars finish?

Same thing happened when I was in H.S. Use kerosene to get the spray-paint off. It sounds crazy but it worked on my dads sports car. Was told to do this from an auto body shop.

whatever you do, hurry before the paint sets for good.

Take pictures and file a police report; kids are dumb and will brag or do the same thing again and get caught.

Most spray paint is trash compared to factory top coats. I would start with naphtha, gas, kerosene, etc. along with plenty of elbow grease. The sooner the better. Chances are it will scrub off. If not sharpen it up with a little alcohol, gas antifreeze or whatever. Lacquer thinner as a last resort. Finish with a good wax.

Lacquer thinner will damage the finish. Use the least aggressive cleaner on a small area until you find one that will remove the surface contaminents.
