This filter came off a 2003 Frontier with the 4cly. It was run 5k miles/9 months. Oil used was Havoline 10w-30.
The drain back valve was kind of hard. This truck see's 5k oil changes for the most part and has 139k on it.
This is a $2 filter.

For a $2 filter it looks like it did it's job. Louvers are opened up pretty well, a little deformation of the pleats, but nothing I would worry about.

Looks good! What was the date code on the top of the can? 
That's one of the older Fram/Champ CQ Reds. They were the best filter in the economy tier filter segment.
