Hi Folks,

I have a Car Jack that is rated for 1500 kgs and the specified Oil is SAE-10.

It needs topping up.

Would it be ok to use an ISO-68 oil if I can't find ISO-32 nor SAE-10?

Thanks, MTB.

I've seen jack oil the cheapest at Walmart. It is on a shelf around the floor jacks I think, not where spray lubes and auto chems are.
I would never use 1/2 of the quart bottle from Auto Zone the rest of my life. I'd get the smaller bottle

Are you indicating, then, that ISO-68 should NOT be used in an hydraulic jack when ISO-32 (SAE-10) is the specified viscosity.

What would be the outcome if someone attempted to use the ISO-68?
