Recently bought a new dishwasher. Today it came, old one was taken out. Before new one was put in, dents were seen and so I told them I wanted a new one. However, the water line going to the kitchen faucet now has an opening. New unit won't be delivered for another 2 weeks. See the picture. Is there anything special I could use to cap it off? I suppose any Home Depot or Lowes would have whatever I need---or would I be better off going to a dedicated plumbing supply store?

I'll take a look at their options. It only needs to work until Dec 22.

While you are at it, I would go ahead and replace that multi-turn valve that will likely begin to leak one of these days with a quarter turn valve like this
