Hello guy,s I am curious about the synthetic oil that us canadians get at CANADIAN TIRE it,s called motormaster formula 1 100% synthetic MEETS API SL,SJ,SH,SG/CF&ILSAC GF-2,GF-3 and JASO WEAR TEST requirements meets requirements of corvette GM4718N. Then at the bottom of the bottle it say,s it EXCEEDS the above requirements. Does anyone know anything about this stuff,or is there a lab in canada that I can send a sample to.The stuff is pretty cheap at $4.99 or so canadian peso,s

I've used it to get through the winter and it seemed to work OK. But I think it's a group 3(made from crude oil) synthetic. Mobil 1 is a true PAO synthetic and it's under $6/liter, atleast around here. A much better deal IMO.
