Except that one will not cut the smaller filters very well. The can ends up riding in between the two roller wheels instead of on the roller wheels.

Don't use a specific built, high quality oil filter cutter ... don't you know they are too complicated to use and you'll end up tearing the media! Use a kitchen can opener instead.

I was hoping to see a pic of a filter cutter that handed you a Molson half way through the process.

Its so narrow, one could just about lock the cutter in a vise and use a filter wrench and a ratchet to cut it open.

Looks cool, but yes.. a tad too $$$ for me.
