US will get the worst of both worlds: High cost private medicine, and it will be made mandatory.

This is, in essence, a tax just for being alive.

As far as I'm concerned, the government needs to fix the VA system first. Our vets have earned the right to quality treatment, especially when you consider that many of their problems stem from their service to the US.

Once the government proves it can handle the VA properly, then they can come and "fix" my insurance. Which I don't consider to be broken. And, just so you know, I had a spell where I was uninsured due to job loss and I still feel that way.

Oh, one more thing, CONgress should be mandated to have exactly the same coverage as us peons.
