I have the original plug wires in a 99 Taurus and 95 Olds and they are numbered 1 through 6 to match the cylinder. I bought new Motorcraft and AC Delco wire sets. Neither of the sets had the original style numbered wires. I assumed Motorcraft means OEM Ford and AC Delco means OEM GM wires but maybe not. Would I have to order the wires from a Ford or GM dealer to get numbered Ford or GM wires? Or is this all that is available?
Can you still get GM or Ford numbered ignition wires somehow?

If you order from a dealer, you're going to get MC or ACD parts. Unless you are aiming for a concours restoration, I would just use a set of wire markers.
Ours don't come numbered anymore. Maybe a couple random NOS pat numbers. Just use wire markers or make number labels or printed heat shrink.
NGK ignition wires are numbered. At least the set I bought for my 1998 Nissan Frontier are.
Not concours but I just want them for originality.

Thanks but I'm looking for original style not aftermarket.
I stock 1 spark plug wire set, its for the 3.0L V6 in a Ranger and they are not marked with anything but "Motorcraft" and "8mm".
I have never seen any replacement GM plug wires including ones bought from the dealer that have the original cylinder numbers on them. I can't speak for Motorcraft one since I've never bought any.

Some NGK wires are numbered. NB Miata from personal experience.
