Can I use a PF63 in place of PF43 for 2004 5.3 Silverado

I have a spare ACDelco PF63 and was wondering if it would work on my 2004 Silverado 5.3L. The gaskets match up and I believe the ACDelco PF63 works on newer Silverados. I currently use the recommended ACDelco PF46.

No, the "long" version of the pf46 is the pf61. 63 is long version for newer models, the pf48.

Right you are. The thread-starter needs to use a PF46 (short) or equiv, or the PF61 (long) or equiv.
