That's a lot of mods to get beat in the 1/4 by a stock '11 Mustang GT though wink LOL Seriously, a lot of them have been low 12's in the mid teens (115-ish). Ben posted about one going 12.25 @115 stock. Would suck to be the guy with all the mods chasing down (and he would be with that MPH!) the stock Mustang.

Thats alot of work and money for little results. Could of put those resources in an already fast car and be in he 9's

I agree. What a waste of money.

or it's not tuned right. I believe with manual it would do better. Getting it skinnier won't hurt. I think it's someones DD,all seats, big subs and so on, I believe dude is from Canada.( snow, highways and kms instead of miles smile )

I like the idea of a "sleeper Camry" but the thing is, is that want you want? A CAMRY??? Im with ya, i like the ambition and im glad you didnt do the Accord and i like what you have got. But its still a CAMRY!! Do that to an Audi A8............................... (engine work) Or one of the 1997 Range Rover "Special Edition" HSEs with the option package that cost as much as the car or some Subaru Legacy A-spec 2.5 or 3.0 R laugh

Yeah, these results weren't impressive, plenty of stock cars that are faster.

May have saved a few bucks and gotten a similar result with a bolt on nitrous kit. Most of the hp is wasted I.E. Can't put the power to the ground. Watch the steering wheel when taking off, tons of torque steer.

Most any stock Vette could whip it. Also: Cadillac DTS-V (the new 556HP one) BMW M5 etc etc. Any car with "two" mods could give it a run Its a Camry. smile Lexus LS400 the 90s one..

LOL Yep. I have the Vette LS2 engine with a Supercharger, tune & pipes, so, yea. smile

I think you guys are looking at this from the wrong angle. Is a '11 mustang GT faster at the 1/4 mile track? Yes. Fwd cars aren't that great at the track, I know first hand. On a street highway run, the mustang is going to have a hard time hanging with the Camry and probably loose by 3-4 cars length from a 50-120 run.
