Likely it's rebottled oil from a minor blender, like Warren. I'd prefer WalMart SUPERTECH or discounted Havoline.

I would hesitate to use Cam2 unless it was cs., and for a beater.
They primarily sell to the private-label or "house brand" class of trade. I've seen the wholesale prices for the bulk Cam2 that goes into quickie-lubes, and it is *cheap*.

I have a can of CAM2 that is rated API SE and also has the Sunoco emblem on it. Didn't know they still made the stuff.

Paul back then cam2 was made buy SUN for PENSKE racing. SUN and PENSKE went separate ways and SUN sold the CAM2 name. THE product is low price and LOW QUALITY .

Paul API-SF will form sludge in today engines, API SM will out preform all previous API standards in terms of wear and engine deposits.

I was hoping that it had all the performance characteristics of something more modern, like SL, but the zddp of SF. Oh well (tongue in cheek), there's always GM EOS with its 6000 ppm zddp.
