California oil spill: Wetlands may face ‘ecological disaster’ from pipeline failure (at least 126,000 gallons)

Just set it on fire. That’ll take care of most of it.
On water that requires a minimum thickness especially over cold water. For Macondo - bp did that with fire resistant booms slowly pulled by vessels keeping the “MOFT” 😷

More fish are killed every year around Tampa Bay. Caused by "Red Tide". They actually set up "Dead fish ONLY" dumpsters around the beaches.

Caused by overdevelopement and sewage waste. Septic tanks still exist.
 
Latest news is a large ship that was anchored somewhat near the pipeline exhibited unusual movements that took it over the pipeline (as if its anchor was snagged on the line.) Not sure how credible the story is.
