Is it me or does it seem a disproportionate amount of "lemon vehicles" & Buybacks are found in California. From what i have read it seems they have some of the toughest lemon laws in Calif. Are a large number of these cars labled lemonsbuybacks unfairly, if not why arent there more lemons nationwide. Lastly would you buy one of these

I would if the price is right and with full warranties. Dealers only sell these buy-backs after all problems had been fixed.
If I recall correctly, California accounts for 1/5-1/4 of all new cars sold in the US. So yes, it should seem that California has a disproportionate amount of lemons.

California has a disproportionate amount of everything.
How are you shopping? I bought a couple cars from dealers I found online through autotrader.com, sorted by price, year, mileage, and price again.
When I got the titles it turned out they were previously reposessed... I credit it to my fishing near the bottom of the barrel.
