California Ditches ‘Unachievable’ Scheme To Mandate Green Trucks

I’m thinking they only withdrew it so they wouldn’t later get a court challenge and unfavorable ruling against it.
I’m sure it’ll be back.
My assumption is that the current administration didn't approve it fast enough and CARB knows that the new one will not approve it. Could be totally wrong, though.

CARB recently passed a huge increase in penalties for gasoline producers. Reputed to increase the cost of the most expensive gasoline in the country by $.65/gallon, or more. The penalty money is being funneled into bio diesel production. If they ban diesel, they will look pretty dumb

Filled up with Exxon for $2.59/gallon today … 😎

Bad choice of words on my part. Point is, they are taking (a lot of) money from gasoline users, and funneling it into diesel. Banning diesel would turn all of that upside down. Growers would lose supplements, and maybe put them out of business.
