C-17 Tactical Descent

The C-17 is a impressive performing aircraft It’s about the size of a 777 and designed to operate in theatre from dirt runways. One unique feature is it can descend at 20,000 ft/min, basically falling out of the sky.
In this video, at about 1:30, you can see the pilot pull the throttles back, then over the gate and the artificial horizon goes solid brown and stays there

A great Aircraft. RAF flew many injured Soldiers back to UK from Iraq and Afghanistan using the C-17.
 
Having jumped out of a C17 many times, I can tell you it is a awesome aircraft to exit with full combat load. Legs stretched out while in flight, just a overall wonderful aircraft. No better fixed wing to exit while carrying a combat load.
