By the numbers comparison of Shell Rotella T6 Multivehicle vs Gas Truck 5w-30?

So I currently run Shell Rotella Gas Truck 5w-20 or 5w-30 in my 2012 Mustang 5.0 I have the dreaded "typewriter tick" and do put my car through its paces quite often so I feel a heavy duty oil is better suited. Based off VOAs which oil is "better" for my application Rotella Gas Truck 5w-30 or Rotella T6 Multivehicle?

Based on VOAs, no one can tell.

One would have to try the 5W-30 and see if it fixes the typewriter. What have you got to lose?

Try a 5w-40 or a 5/10w-40
