Burning off fuel ...

My daily commute is a 28 Km.

14 km to work and 14 km from work ...

My car is Mazda 3 DISI 2.3L ... And I guess its a good Idea to take this car once a week on HWY .. to burn off fuel ? from Oil .. I would like to keep this car for long time .. I will be running ASM 0w20 soon.

unneccesary mileage is unneccesary wear not just on the engine, but tires& brakes and other driveline components. That engine will live a very long life regardless.

going for a drive just to save the oil seems counterintuitive. If you ARE paranoid, why not change the oil out earlier instead? (Save the wear and tear on other parts)

Condensation in the oil is a far larger problem, IMO. The distance you drive should eliminate most condensation concerns. If fuel in the oil is a big enough problem with your car, then I think a shorter OCI with a less expensive synthetic would be the way to go. A maintenance dose of Auto RX would help the oil out, too.

I think the effect of "buning off" fuel is over estimated. Change out the oil more frequently if you've got a fuel diluter.

Don't waste gas to save the oil .. change the oil more often if necessary. Not good economics to burn 100L of fuel to save 4L of oil.

Drive down to my place in Wheatley, ON, ... bring some oil and a filter and I'll change it for you. I love changing oil.
By the time you got here it would certainly be "up to temp".

I've done several used oil analysis on my Mazda CX7. The wears values were good even though there was fuel in the oil. I drive all suburban with runs of 2-6 miles. If your using a good oil and changing out at 6-7,000 miles like I am, you have no issues with your 14K drives. I would advise you to NOT run a thinner oil than the recommended 5w30 in your turbo charged engine. I run PP in the 5w30 recommenced viscosity and change out the oil & filter at 6,000 to 6,500 miles. If you are concerned, then have an oil analysis performed to check for wear. Always check the wear values first. Seems some like to get concerned about fuel without looking for what's important-wear.
