Our yearly Utah ski trip to little cottonwood canyon(Alta/Snowbird) near Salt Lake City was a 2024 Buick Enclave. Very comfortable heated leather and two captains rear chairs made it easy to pile 4 pair skis up center.

The only qualm was AWD not enabled by default , I think terrible idea for renter and most of buying public. I helped a traverse renter get unstuck by saying AWD not on by default.

It came in useful as over 7 days we got around 6ft snow to ski. It climbed snowy roads with all seasons sometimes at 9% grade.

The vehicle did claw its way out okay over a 3’ banking as it was nuking snow 1-2”/hr during storm.

I think that the Buick Enclave is simply among the best looking SUV's on the market at any price. It looks way more luxurious than its price would suggest, especially in the Avenir trim...I'm not saying it's not expensive!
My personal favorite is the pearl white paint with the 2 tone tan/cocoa interior. Of course, these paint/interior colors are my favorite on just about any vehicle.

I feel that way about the Regal wagon when I see them. One could take off the emblems and badging and put BMW or a 3 pointed star on it and it would not be out of place.

We have a 2011 Enclave and it simply has enormous cargo at 115 cu ft. I believe the new one is under 100 as it's smaller and if I'm not mistaken 4 cyl. Our has white diamond paint and I did give up on the touch up paint lol

We do aspire at this time to a V8 Tahoe (it's truly hard to give up the room as we're used to driving with the 3rd row folded and not having to worry about anything going in the back--all it takes is my son's hockey bag and a medium cooler, that takes positioning on a smaller SUV) :)

How is the AWD not enabled by "default ". I've never seen this as awd generally actives when slip is detected. Old school part-time 4wd you had to get out and lock the hubs.

Agreed…what I’ve never understood are the various Jeep systems available on the same vehicle.

One day when we go to buy a Tahoe I’ll try to understand. I always thought they drove around in RWD. I once got a 2017 Suburban loaner and it was in 4WD so I left it alone…it could not be turned in our driveway.
Per specs Tahoe can 😊

A friends roommate years ago had a dial on the left side near the steering wheel on his Tahoe that had 2wd 4wd , awd. As a selector. From reading Chevy must have had a locking front/rear differential that allowed for true 4wd but a way to enable awd.

SIL in western kansas has a Enclave. We've used it for trips to Texas and Ohio. I agree with many of the previous comments. It's incredibly roomy, quiet, and comfortable. I really like the 2nd row captains chairs and adjustability. I also like the really large storage bin under the center console. The V6 has ample power and still gets reasonable gas mileage. We got 25 to 26 MPG on these road trips and with the 20+ gallon tank it can travel far further than my bladder can. Hers is three years old and has only needed scheduled maintenance and new tires. It's driven on a lot of dirt roads (she owns a farm but lives in town) and handles mud and snow well. Only downside is that the electronic settings seem to be a headache to use and not very intuitive.
