Only 1 Tire Cracking. Same date codes on all tires.
Tires handle great. No vibrations. Drives strait.
I had tire dealer (Costco Canada) look at them. They state safe to drive. Keep an eye on them and to bring back if gets worse.
I never thought 1 year old tire would do this. Maybe 3 years to see premature cracks but not 1 year.
Really disappointed see this!
What do you think?

I agree. A year old tire shouldn't be cracking like this.

I also agree it isn't dangerous, but like the dealer said, watch them to see if they get worse.

But if I were you, I'd call Bridgestone corporate, tell them a one year old tire shouldn't do this, and you are very unhappy and not likely to purchase their product again, and will tell others about this - BUT - it would make you feel much more positive about their tires if they agreed to replace all of them free of charge, - then negotiate the best deal you can.

Very very odd that just one is doing it. Is that corner in the sun or something where you park the car?

If @CapriRacer says it’s weird, it’s weird. I’d call the tire company.

Just go back to Costco and tell them it got worse. They won’t remember you. Regardless, just demand they replace the tire. It is Costco - people return ten year old rusted out grills.

Thanks for advice. Ill call today.

To close out my post.
Talked to Bridgestone. Had to leave message. I was surprised he actually called me back. No warranty. Basically gave me an education on Tire construction. Said tires are safe to drive and bring back to tire dealer if condition get worse. That's all I got for ya. First time buying Bridgestone and could be the last.

I guess at 6500 miles a year, you won't wear them out for 7-8 years... Make some notes or save some emails that you contacted them at year 1, and if at 3 years its very cracked and unusable, they owe you a new tire and not pro rate the replacement.

I’ve read the same complaint recently across several brands. This post on Bridgestone, seems like there have been several complaints on other forums about Nokian. I want to say there was one more.

I’ve had several tires crack on the exterior inside of 5 years old, but none ever gave me trouble, it just doesn’t look great.
