This is the break-in oil from a 2009 Subaru impreza. Subaru didnt make claims of a specialty break-in oil, but did recommend an earlier change-out (i.e. 1750mi). I figured earlier was better, and so did it at 150 miles, which IMO wasnt the best thing. i did replace it with havoline, which was a high Mo formulation.

all I have is posted. Im assuming it is 5w-30, since there is no 0w-20 recommended in the OM for this vehicle.

9.43 cst = 30 weight.

Oil would have been an average 5W-30 in the 10.3 - 10.7 cst range, and it sheared a bit in service.

Yup. Seen it before - a factory fill, run 900(?) miles, sheared right down. It's in the UOAs section somewhere.
