Got a brand new Camry with the 2.4. If you started from 0 miles what oil/filter and change interval would you use? I have always gone the Mobil1 5w-30 with 5000 miles changes......but tell me a better way. Looking to have the car way down the road!

Start with a good dino to speed up the break in process. Don't rev the engine fast, progressively work your way up to redline by 2,000 miles. i.e.

0-500 - 500-1000 - 1000-1500 - 2,000+
Change your oil and filter at 1,000 miles, 3,000 miles and 5,000 miles since the break-in process will generate wear and metals in your engine higher than normal. At 5k install a synthetic lube of your liking. There is plenty good ones on the market just find which one suits you best!
