GE Model # GTW325ASWWW 4 cubic ft top load washing machine, white in color. The good kind with an agitator. Purchased one and got sent two. New price at the big box stores range from 518.00 to 549.00, box has never been opened. Asking 400.00, pick up only in north Tampa.

That is definitely worth $400 but I just got one and not near you so GLWS.
If you put it on facebook marketplace recommend pricing $500 for negotiation room.
I was looking at that exact model before I lucked into my 6 month old speed queen front loader.

Call the store you got the machine from and tell them they made a mistake. Just because they delivered two, that doesn't mean you should keep it and profit.
I had that happen with gamestop they delivered 2 Oculus quest 2's.
but since I didn't have a receipt for the 64GB model they didn't want it back.
(they sent 1 256GB model and 1 64GB model)

I did, and was told their 3rd party delivery service will not pickup merchandise and deliver it back to their warehouse.
The order was shipped out of their fulfillment center so I was told to keep it.
I can believe it. I had two Porter Cable 80 Gallon air compressors drop gate delivered and left on my driveway when I ordered only one. Called them about it and was told to keep it. Was not worth the cost for them to come pick it up and reprocess it.

If it were me.....I would do one of two things:

1.) Keep it as a replacement, as new appliances are not known for their reliability.

2.) Find a needy family who really needs a new washing machine and give it to them.

Either one of these would net you more than the $400 bucks.

Have a good one.

Some people have two washers and dryers to make the task faster.
or for pet pillows or greasy clothes.......good point @skyactiv

At the local laundromat in Moorcroft, WY. They had an entire side of the area with "greasers only" marked on them, as everyone worked in the oil field

Craigslist or Facebook would be a good bet.

If someone needs one and posts at a Facebook group that focuses on your neck of the woods, you can also sell or donate it that way.

Finally, if there is a Habitat for Humanity store near you, that's a great organization. Their ReStore is the Costco of thrift stores. They offer a lot of great quality merchandise at a reasonable cost.
