I really haven't found much information on the original green Kendall GT-1 or Brad Penn Penngrade oil, more than former users saying that GT-1 was great oil and Brad Penn saying their formula for Penngrade is very similar to Kendall's. Also haven't found any VOA or PDS data on the old GT-1 either. So...to anyone who uses or have used both, what say you? Are the oils similar?

Call or send an email to Kendall at the new Phillips 66 company. I've found them to be very responsive. Once a district sales rep for Kendall called me back and solved my problem after I bought some GT-1 20w/50 from a Mom and Pop store in PA and later found the oil was six years old.
No experience with Kendall. Have certainly used my share of BradPenn 20/50 and 10/40 with great results.
I'm not sure Kendall has any interest in my interest in an old product, produced when the brand belonged to another company. I have researched the their current offerings, and I like their GT-1 monogrades and their GT-1 Competition 20W-50, as they appear to be solid products.

Bump. I'd really appreciate any information, more so for the Kendall than the Brad Penn.
