BP in trouble

Curiously, out here, BP's ARCO stations are among the cheapest. That's all I've used for over six years, and never had a problem. (uncertain exactly when BP bought 'em out)

All I know is we have BP stations everywhere around here and they used to be few and far between. Seems they bought all the AMOCO/Standard stations up and built a lot of new stations. All seems to have happened about the same time the article says they were possibly bilking the consumers.

Correct.
In CA the BP's Arcos in 90% cases are the cheapest all around, period.
BP's Castrol Syntec 0w30 aka GC still remains a great bargain in comparison to Mobil 1.
Not mentioning 3 or 4 GC sales last year when GC was going for $3.99 qt.
