I was reading and found this very interesting. Now that I recall it seems a lot of the oil companies and closing refineries or selling crude oil explorations and perusing natural gas exploration. I wonder how many CNG vehicles we could see by 2030. Might not be quite as powerful as gasoline but is cheaper, cleaner emissions and the US has ALOT. http://www.bp.com/sectiongenericarticle800.do?categoryId=9037134&contentId=7068677

NG, something that is wonderful for making hot showers, fertilizers, feedstocks for making syn oil, etc... For transport. Yuck on alternate levels. Better figure how to harvest methane hydrates... Or drink dirty water.

Environmentalists still don't like CNG, even though it is 90% cleaner than gasoline. Until we get an administration that isn't beholden to the small number of environmental extremists N. America will ever be energy independent, at least the USA won't be.

Guess that you vote for it, fracking, and a backyard full of salt ? Have heard from a not too bad source that GM(H) are abandoning Spark Ignition engines in the not too distant future...FWIW. NG works OK on busses (lots of volume, and heavy anyway). Propane is bad enough, and that was in a ute.

Yes, being an eco-terrorist is becoming a bit tiresome. John--Las Vegas
