I don't have any beef with Dex-Cool myself, I didn't change the Dex-Cool in my Corvette until it had over 10 years on it and roughly 100,000 miles, and I haven't had any cooling system problems at all. And the old Dex-Cool I drained out didn't look funky at all, it probably could have gone longer. I won't bother changing it again until it's about ten years old.
