Boston Market price gouging on Thanksgiving?

Here in La. people like to make plate lunches for all kinds of occasions. For instance, in my area they make a lot of pork steak dinners with a vegetable, roll, and dessert. When I came back to La. in 2012 this meal was selling for $5. Today, it's $11-$13.

Some Cajuns are very poor. These kind of meat cuts have to suffice for a whole family to eat. And, that's why a pork steak dinner is very well received here.

Have you eaten in any take out place recently? Prices all went up because of reduced traffic and extra cost. They probably prefer you to order a whole turkey home to bake instead of a 2 piece chicken dinner with 2 sides on Thanksgiving day.

Does Boston Market sell turkey dinners normally or only on Thanksgiving?

I think chicken meal is around $10-11. If you don't want to pay $14 for turkey, then get chicken.

They do at least 4 years or so ago.
