I think I saw this a while ago, it was when they were acquired by Toyota and got turned into a mass market robotic company instead of specialist in humanoid (legged) robotic company. I heard the people there weren't too happy because of this, and then Toyota eventually sold it / leave them alone.
It doesn't cost too much in parts and material compare to the R&D cost and scale. They probably don't need too many of them if the warehouse is already well automated like Amazon and Walmart, just a few to supplement those cheaper simpler dumber Kiva robots.
With a gun they can be pretty deadly, but with insulation they can be pretty handy for fire fighting, rescue mission, policing, etc in the urban area.
