demarpaint and I have been chatting about this along with a few other members. Since it didn't get any replies I thought I'd copy and paste it over here, I was anxious to see what kind of feedback it got.

Anyone coating bullets with this? Anyone know if it would work or has anyone tried it as an oil additive? Seems to get some good results with the reloaders coating bullets with it. Just curious if it would work in oil?

TIA

That's what I've read, does it have any benefit in oil, the way moly does?

I don't have any practical knowledge on the matter. I imagine that it's not used because it may be expensive, or otherwise hard to compete with MoS2 and graphite.

I was thinking along those lines too. Tungsten Disulfide is supposed to be good and will work in oil, but it is harder to keep in suspension than Moly so it isn't used. It also costs a a lot more.

Anyone have the ideal PPM of moly? Chatting via pm with a few members 600 ppm seems to be a good number.
