I just put the boat battery into my heated garage for the winter. It has removable caps so I topped up the water such that the image was “ upside down” inside the cell. I’ve topped up each year at the end of the season. The battery has been sitting outside disconnected for the last three weeks and still had a good charge on it. The CCA was just a bit lower than spec, at 620. I know lots of people like trickle chargers but I just charge it at Christmas and Easter with a smart charger. I also give it a charge after each run, as the kids often listen to the stereo. Six seasons now and still looks pretty good.

keeping my batteries topped up WORKS for me as none are newer than 5 years + one is NINE years in my rarely ridden motorcycle. no deep cyclers just typical AMG + a flooded interstate in my truck + being retired they are semi-retired as well. my fun-summer 2001 TT roadster sets all winter in my garage PA where everything is stored when not in use. these are just typical quality batteries of different manufactures, nothing cheep but NOT hi $$$$

It does not look like an Easy Penn as no EP in serial number that I can see. Who manufactured the battery? A test like you did is good but a true load test at half the CCA is the best way.
