If that person can get the patient's doctor to issue a advisory of a impending death note within a couple of weeks or so, only then am I OK with this. Otherwise NO.

So no I am not UNreasonable. Just considerate.

Its really inconsiderate, unfortunately the way that companies treat their employees, and the fees that airlines charge dont help.

Or maybe one of those old metal diving helmets

OK, I would not act like that guy. I coughed into tissues and constantly used Purell to kill germs to the point of chapping my hands. Sick is one thing--hacking all over everyone is quite another. I guess I am into the fray again...I am waiting to board a flight as I type this; not sick though

How do you rescehdule a dying parent/spouse/child or a funeral of one of those?

EDIT - just noticed that similar/same question was already asked - so NM.

Maybe they were flying from a third world country or island wanting to get back home to a Dr.

My wife's friend got checked out by hotel Dr in Jamaica for $500 who said she had a serious infection get into hospital. She said no way in Jamaica, so gave a shot of massive antibiotics and she boarded a plane home and went directly to hospital ER and was checked in. On the plane ride she was going to restroom every 15-30 minutes throwing up.
