Wow. I would dump it right after the warranty expires. Could be fun in the meantime.

Sounds like fun. 38MPG, more than 500 ft-lb out of the 3.0 6 cyl? It must pull like a train. Literally. I am surprised it doesn't tear itself apart. I am a big fan of BMW cars and motorcycles. I prefer to own them while under warranty. I have never had any reliability issues myself, but the potential cost scares me. Is an electric turbo-charger still considered a turbo? I thought it would be considered something else, like an electric supercharger.
