BMW iX 50 review

This is a good review of the new BMW EV SUV:

Definitely a improvement in my opinion with the linear digital screen concept instead of just one large tablet style screen mid instrument panel. The HUD is another key improvement.

There were some negatives like the crystal controls that could glare at your eyes on sunny days. I would wonder about nighttime as well if the screen brightness might glare on those?

The first thing a BITOGer will squawk about is the fact that you cannot open the hood.

The one thing I would like to see is that self healing material used in other places on the vehicle.

They could have done a better job incorporating the digital screens into the rest of the interior, IMO. It looks disconnected to me. Mercedes pulled it off much better in the EQS.

Agreed.

I also find the front end a bit gaudy.
