The Juniper model Y and Highland 3 both show good improvement in time and the Long Range RWD model 3 might be the most efficient EV made today.

5.3 MPKWH is pretty amazing.

Here is the current leaderboard.

Not that those 2 tests you mentioned were run with the temperatures averaging 14-17°C. Warm enough not to need heat, cold enough not to need AC.

Those are literally best case scenarios. And those happen only a handful of times per year.

Thats why he lists the temps,

For sure it's a goldilocks zone, he'll make multiple runs in each car so people get a chance to see what it does in diff seasons.

Still an amazing display of efficiency.

Plenty of other models were run a similar temp range. The comparison is still quite valid IMO.

Between the other cars running at that temp yes, but not with the others. And then there's the fossil fuel reference.... the e-power nissans are bad on fuel (and more so on the highway), and the x-trail is an suv, that also ran the highest average speed. Like he needed to get a poor ICE result.

He runs mostly at a fixed speed - 120KPH, the Ice reference was more about the fueling time than the drive time.
