Sounds good BUT i would perfer the ASTM D-943 test which is run to a 2 TAN number. Not just 72 hours that is to short IMHO. I think that run longer the seed oils would thicken far more than the mineral oil which is not know what quality base stock was used. But i think seed oil PCMO's maybe cominmg for high loss systems but not yet.

I hope no tax money is going into this boondoggle. You can genetic engineer all you want tailoring the ratios of unfaturated fatty acids, but in the end, You are still going to have a material that will solidify without massive amounts of additives.

, anyone stopped to wonder how highly unsaturated fats behave in the oxidative regime in the bloodstream...the thought of coating my internals in linoleum or laquer is scary.

Not going out to eat a big mac and fill up on saturates.

I think (personally, and my belief only) that monosaturates are better than either saturated or polyunsaturated.
