Big O tires oil

For years, I took my Jeep to a Big O Tires store here in Northern Calif for regular oil changes. The shop manager told me they used the bulk 5w30 and 10w30 from Napa.

Can I assume this is the same as Valvoline? Are the add packs the same?


Whenever I did my own OCI changes (at least at home for the first 10 years on the truck) was Valvoline Conventional. (Now using PP).

Lots of threads on valvoline/napa. Add packs are not the same.

Depends on if NAPA is the distributor for a 3rd party or if it's NAPA branded bulk. Their bulk is as you say Ashland/almost Valvoline.
