And it's fun! I'm 63 and have been riding my whole life but really got back to riding my mountain bike in the woods since C19. Alone. Smile every time I go.

You refer to mobility without internal combustion by choice or necessity. Very true but underused in the USA.
 
Bikes are said to be the most efficient means of transportation, requiring the lowest energy input per unit distance. Not sure whether this takes upfront energy inputs into account, but if you amortize those manufacturing inputs over the lifespan of a bike, I don't think they're very high per mile.
