BG power steering conditioner

Got a sealed little 6fl oz bottle in a open air market for $1. I know BG makes the best fluids, but the question is..... Could it be designed only to work with conventional power steering fluids? I use Dex/Merc III for my P/S system, and wanted to make sure before adding it, because I'd have to aspirate 180 ml out of the reservoir. Thanks.

What's your power steering system doing that it needs a "conditioner," if it's working fine I wouldn't add any stop leak or "conditioner" additives, just change out the fluid in the reservoir from time to time. BG is mostly expensive crap that shops try to upsell people into.

It is very hard to find a more "conventional" ps fluid than DexIII, use it and don't worry. I don't know specifically about BG, but their website can probably answer this for you.

PS systems are often the most neglected system, good on 'ya for tending to it.
