I have a score of 5.2 for graphics.Gaming graphics 5.6. Am i missing out on a lot of performance? what can i do to up the numbers?

Depends. Are you gaming? If not, don't worry about the graphics scores. I'm quite happy with mine myself. 3.75Ghz Phenom II Quad Core, 8GB DDR3, Dual Radeon 5770s, 40GB SSD Boot drive.

Unless your using 3d applications like autocad or 3dsmax or a hardcore gamer. There's no point in having a better windows experience index. It's an artificial number, it's not even good at comparing relative performance.
If it's just a numbers thing (it bothers me too lol), don't bother you will hit a wall with the harddrive performance and crossing that wall will mean a lot of money. Money probably better spent elsewhere.
