Better running on Mobil 1 0W-20?

I just did my first oil change on my lightning, it had the factory fill 5-20 Motorcraft and now 5-20 Mobil 1 and a Motorcraft filter. The first thing that I noticed was that it sounded smoother running, it seemed to idle much better sitting at a light or just in the driveway running... I mean you could tell the difference. Is that possible or is it just me?

Synthetic oil has a lot less friciton than dino oil..it's always the case when you switch from dino to synthetic..flows quicker with less resistance....

I noticed a smoother, nicer running engine on mobil 1 5/30 vs. non-synthetic 5/30, also.

I had the opposite experience, go figure.
