Best protection for a Chrome exhaust finisher

It's brand new and just wondering if some sealant like Duragloss #101 would be ok for it. I know chrome/aluminum polish can restore the metal. But this is brand new and just want to put some protection on it. So when it's dirty it will clean up nicely.

Wax or seal it everytime you do your car and it'll keep it looking nice.
