Best Oil to add for topping off.

I just checked today and was just a half quart low on my current Maxlife OCI which needed changing about -1700 miles ago. I figure I have Maxlife in there so it can go 7 to 7.5k-ish. I am good if I get the oil changed in the next few days?

Since you know the consumption rate, I'd top off at a point where the oil would be a quart low at oil change time.
